Brian Cropper, Senior Wetland Ecologist
Brian joined CREST as Senior Wetland Ecologist in May 2025. He brings a broad set of skills including performing wetland delineations, restoration project implementation, and habitat surveys. Much of his professional experience involves facilitating design solutions for complicated projects and assisting project managers and engineers in navigating the ever-changing world of wetland and waters permitting. In his new role, he looks forward to digging countless more soil pits in pursuit of restoring the Columbia River Estuary to its former glory.
Personal ProfileBefore joining CREST, Brian spent 11 years in San Diego, California working as a Biologist. He is excited to continue that tradition here on the Oregon coast, where he heard that sometimes it can be a little bit rainy. Outside of work you can catch Brian putzing around his garden, reading, or redesigning his living room for the fifteenth time.
